This one is sort of directed to Matt, but I figured other people might be interested in the idea.

There's an Android app called Tapatalk, and it's essentially a an app for browsing forums on your phone. Swedespeed recently adopted it and I used it earlier today for the first time. It's very easy to use and free for forum owners. The app on the phone is only a couple of dollars. I think it's well worth it to not have to open a browser, zoom in a ton, and have it be really hard and complicated to view/post.

This app is very cool! If anyone has an Android, try out the Swedespeed forum on it. Very easy to navigate, and it would be super cool for checking MVS on the go.

Apparently it only takes a matter of minutes to set-up by the forum owner!

OMG!!! I need this so badly!! Thank you so much for the tip. Matt, please get this system running with MVS when you have some time. This would make my life, and a lot of other member's lives a lot easier.

. Forums are hard to navigate on smartphones.

I looked over the documentation and it doesn't look difficult. I'll give it a go tomorrow and get back to this topic with the results.

Did you guys pay $2.99 for the app? I did (iPhone). Just checking to see if that's the only way.

I'm not complaining; I think three dollars for a damn good/new way of looking at this Volvo forum is well worth it.

It brings many features and metrics of the forum (like seeing my subscribed topics and membership stats) up in front of me, where using the forum in a browser the traditional way made those harder to access.

And the photo attachment mechanism is EASY and FAST, two things that go really well together. Nothing like taking a photo of your car and uploading it here in under 20 seconds. I was floored that it just worked, right "out of the box". This will be a boon for documenting my fiddlings with my 850 and V70.

I'll write up a big page about all this soon. Ed, thanks again for bringing this to my attention.

I'm always interested in adding new things like this, folks. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you run into something out there that will make MVS more useful in any way.
