Volvo 2001 v70 sunroof stopped working after dead battery

Hi, Just joined up after googling a repair for my v70. I read how by using the key fob and locking and unlocking three times with it, it will reset the alarm module? WOW. I had to laugh, everything on that sunroof circuit is back in order. Thank YOU whoever posted that. I was scratching my head since none of the fuses had blown. I had just left the keys on and killed the battery, jumped the car and then that sunroof circuit just wouldn't function. I thought I had burnt out something during the jump start.
I've owned and repaired volvo's for over 10 years now. Mostly older 240 and 740 models. I now have the 2001 v70. Love it so far. Talk soon. Charliewheels
