HI,
I have been looking at 2002-2005 Volvo C70 convertibles. What are the known issues with this model.
A friend said it was better to stay away from the 99 model.

There are some improvements in quality of weatherstrips after 99.
Window regulators are not the most robust in the whole series but lubrication of window channels every year helps a lot as it reduces stress on components.
2003 brought some styling changes to front lamps and rear lamps that updated looks a bit.
2003 was intro of much improved throttle system and tank leakage detection system.
