Line up valve timing on intake side with cam shaft pulley?

Post by werner »

Hi, I have a 2001 S60 Volvo (with VVT). I removed the cam shaft on the intake side to change the cam shaft seal. How do I line up the valve timing on the intake side with the cam shaft pulley? Thanks

you need the camholdertool to hold the back of the camshaft then you install the pulley but do not tighten it fully install the belt to the pulleymarkings the vvt pulley in the direction of the belt turning has to be tightened now then crank the eng by hand to make sure you have valve dont touch bingo now start it :D
