also, compare to other cars, is it always expensive for services?
thanks a lot
How much does it cost for changing front brake for a 94, 940 Topic is solved
At the local GM dealership, which also works on Volvos (if I provide the parts and books), it is $89.95 for the front, and $99.95 for the rear, and I provide the pads for my '91 940 Turbo (multi-link rear).
In contrast, my 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi at the same dealership is $129.95 for the front, and $139.95 for the rear, and they provide the pads.
It works out to be the same price, with GM selling me pads for $40.00 a set. Included in those prices is turning the discs and applying some anti-sqeal agent. Some shops (including the above mentioned GM shop, if requested) will just replace the pads, and will cost a little less.
