S40t se 1999 Boost Increase

Hi

I was just wondering if it is possible to increase the boost on a 1999 S40T SE, by using a TURBOSMART BOOST CONTROL GBCV BOOST TEE CONTROLLER or similar boost controller. I was hoping to raise the boost a few psi. What is the standard boost that it runs and what is the most i could increase it safely by with out having to change any internals.

I know the computer controls the boost but not sure if i can get any more boost out of the car.

Could someone please give me some advice.
