Threw this code last night saw that it was one of three possible codes for MAF, ran out for crc MAF cleaner, removed MAF cleaned per Instructions, Seemed to be ok but car stopped , then able to restart. Now seems ok but is there a mileage or time frame for adjustment?

It may take the ECU a little bit to relearn (i.e. reset the fuel trim values based on the new airflow parameters). P0103 is a 'flow too high' fault, so cleaning the MAF may not fix it. Did you reset codes? (And did the CEL turn off?)

I would yank the negative battery cable to drain the computers charge. Your car will then learn "correct" fuel trims, etc. Rather than trying to correct its existing tables.

Thanks again, will do the above. Flow to high? how would that come about and equally important what would be the fix?

A dirty reading from the sensor. The MAF and O2 sensor compare values of what goes in and out of the engine. If one of them is off by more than a certain %, you get a code thrown.

how long should I leave the battery cable off for? Left it off for 45 Min. Erased the memory and got a cel right away. this is a new MAF as of last year. I'm not liking the idea of replacing it just yet.I'mgoning to try leaving it off for a few hours,
is there something else I should/could try?

Yank the cable and drain the charge with the brake pedal. If the code comes back immediately after clearing it and the connection to the sensor is OK then it is a bad sensor indeed.

You need to disconnect both battery cables. The computer will hold a charge as long as there is charge going to it. Leave it disconnected for @ 10 minuets, and press the brake pedal to drain any residual charge. If that doesn't fix, sensor may bad. What brand of sensor is it? Oe or aftermarket?
