E46 M3 will kill stock 850 turbo, no question. newest mustang GT might be a semi-close race, hard to say.

When the 4.6L Mustang GTs first came out I was lined up with one in my 97 Chevy Astro Van during a time trial at an 1/8 mile drag strip. Our 60 foot times were almost identical!

My Astro was stock and averaged 2.40 60 foot times (2.36 being the best). The quickest 1/8 mile I had in it was 10.65 at 65MPH. I know my 98 V70 would run circles around that Astro.

I don't know how much quicker the new GT is from the last model but I firmly believe my Volvo would hang with one of the older ones.
