SUNROOF SHADE

THE FABRIC ON MY SUNROOF SHADE IS PEELING OFF. ANY IDEA HOW TO REMOVE THE SHADE TO REPAIR THE FABRIC? 95 850.

I had the same problem with my 850. What i did was use a multipurpose adhesivve spray mostly used for glue on floor tile. I think its called Super77 or something like that. I just sprayed it on the shade and then spread the fabric over it. I hope that helps.

Good solution, but how do you remove the shade to work on it?

The adhesive you mention is made by 3M - "Super 77 Spray Adhesive". However, they specifically mention on the can it is not recommended for auto headliners. 3M also makes a more aggressive spray product called "76 High Tack Adhesive" which carries no such warning and makes specific claims about being good for elevated temps from direct sun or shipping (closed vehicle in summer?). I used the '76 with good results on a Saab headliner.
