Help, Advice and DIY Tutorials on Volvo's P80 platform cars -- Volvo's 1990s "bread and butter" cars -- powered by the ubiquitous and durable Volvo inline 5-cylinder engine.
I have oil collecting in the tubes coming out of the turbo going into the intercooler and back out to the throttle body. I can undo any of these tubes and wipe out excessive oil. The only reason I checked was because the car would blow a puff of blue smoke on start up, I do not notice the smoke any other time. It used approx half quart of oil in 3000 miles.
I did remove turbo and rebuild it with a turbo rebuild kit (new bearings, seals ect.). I did not see anything wrong with the stuff I replaced. Sure enough its still doing it. I think its getty worse now.
