How to properly align 2010 C70 headlights?

Post by bourmb »

Does anyone know how to properly align the vertical adjustment on 2010 C70 headlights? This is for a halogen car, too.

Dark road and the right tool to turn adjusters (I think it is 7 mm) is my best way. The wall chart way never gives me good real results. The beam pattern scatter presents a real challenge to choose what part of beam you focus on. On a dark road and with driving to verify the results you can get good night time viewing.

Where are the adjustment screws on a 2006+ C70 with halogens?

I don't have a P1 to take a picture of but it is a white plastic screw that points up and likely will have a black cap over it to hide it a bit.
That will be the vertical adjustment. To be honest, I'd have to look at one to describe the horizontal adjustment. I don't recall ever needing to adjust one that way and they usually hide those very well.
