Jack Wanted [1997 Volvo 850]

After doing some brake work my jack slipped (gave way) and ending up bending the screw.

I'm looking for a OEM replacement but many of the 850 jacks on ebay show damage to the loop
that connects to the car (indicating the donor car may have rolled off the jack). The price is also in the
$50-$70 range, which seems high to me given the growing supply of these versus a dwindling demand.

Are there better sources for these jacks? Or is $60 reasonable for these 14 year old jacks?

you should have a jack in the car for road service but for brake work, I'd go with a portable hydraulic jack and some car stands.

Still looking for a jack for my 1997 850. Slipped off my radar for a bit...

Are there multiple jacks that will work for e 850? I seem to recall that there were problems with earlier
850 jacks. Mine was ruined when the jack slipped and bent the screw.

My part number is #9170161 but I'm seeing other jacks with different part numbers that look identical
to mine that are advertised for the 850. Part #6846561 is advertised for an 850. As is #3536879.

I'm seeing them for between $25 and $40 on ebay. If you have one you want to get rid of let me know.
I did PM the previous posters and did not hear back.

Is there a list of compatible jack part #s for the 850? Are these jacks interchangeable?
