Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Have you checked fuses 30 & 31 and the fuel pump relay?

The relays are behind the radio console. You get at them by removing the cover panel under the passenger (LHD) side dash.

Thanks for your help, fuel pump and filter did the job. A friend came over to help and left a fuse out replaced and car started. working on the brakes, pedal is soft. checked fluid its fine, pulled front calipers pads are good. seem to be dragging more than they should. Brake lines are worn, plan to replace. Any suggestions?

Are you saying the brake lines are worn or do you mean the brake hoses are worn? The brake lines are made of some kind of alloy. The brake hoses have been known to swell internally and not allow the fluid to return to the master cylinder, which could cause the brakes to drag.

Help replaced the brake hoses, bled off, have fluid to all four wheels, pedal goes to floor. Not much pressure to any of the wheels. I'm thinking the master cylinder

In what order are you bleeding the brakes and are you doing a manual bleed or a pressure bleed?

The correct order for the 760 with ABS is Left front, right front, left rear and right rear. This is different from the order for non-ABS.
