Speedometer stops working, Need Help for diagnostics

Hi every one:

My speedometer stops working this evening...When I pulled in the driveway this afternoon every thing was working fine.
I backed out of the driveway tonight, suddenly I noticed the speedometer needle not budging.
I have had an issue with my ABS system for more than 7+ years...and my odometer stopped working 4 years ago._the little gear problem. Dispite abs not working for all this while, I had no issue with the speedometer untill tonight. I understand there is a relationship between the abs and speedometer and it is mentioned somewhere on the forum that a bad abs affects the speedometer. But I have had no issue with it after all these years.
(1) Could my problem be related to some sensor (RPM sensor or Speed sensor...or even the TCM)?
(2) I would appreciate anyone with related experience to give a hand in diagnosing the issue.
(3) How do I proceed to get this repair done, I really cannot afford to be without this car now?

Jmm, you were very luckly to have gone this long with the ABS issue and now the speedo. On this forum (Mattymoo) repairs our ABS modules. The IPD ad above this forum has a odometer repair kit, #DP13800 for $32.95 and you can accomplish the entire job in about an hour. Remember, Mattymoo does the ABS modules.
