2001 v70xc Topic is solved

I have to replace the geartronic automatic in my car. I found a replacement, but in looking at the engine compartment, I am not sure if it will have to come out underneath or from above. The unibody frame makes it tight below, and the abs unit above makes it tight from top. Anybody out there had to do this before who can shed some light. Also, do you want to disconnect the transfer case from beneath, or pull it as a unit?
