I have a 1990 Volvo 760 turbo intercooler that has been using oil like crazy. It doesnt seem to be the usual suspect (rings) because it is white smoke and is not a constant flow of smoke. It billows when i come to a stop and sit idling. Someone suggested that it could be the turbo seal. Does that sound right to anybody and if so, would i have to replace the entire unit or could i just replace the seal.
Thanks in advance
