Need Volvo Mechanic in Midwest (Indiana preferable)

Hi All,

I have a Volvo S40 T5 AWD (2006) with 70k mileage that needs new brakes and rotors (the full monte job). I have had awful experiences with the only Volvo Authorized Repair Center that is nearby me in South Bend, Indiana (Jordan Volvo). I wish to avoid them like the plague. Moreover, I'm trying to save some dough. I realize that a full brake job on the T5 model won't be cheap, but I'm hopeful I can find a non-dealer repair shop that can keep costs under $600.

I'm willing to travel as far as Ann Arbor, Michigan to avoid the dealer repair shop in South Bend. Does anyone have any suggestions for repair shops that do a good job and/or have saved you money in the past?
