Just outside of Nashville (east side) and ready to help. I have the Volvo computer system so you can stop by for code reading anytime. I can help you work on any part of your car. Send me a PM or email with your needs.

Hey JD,

I saw your post on the regional help board. I have a 1997 850 wagon and was wondering if you would feel comfortable doing a timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and the pulleys? I've worked on my car before (brakes, heater core, fuel filter...mostly exterior type stuff). I want to do this job myself vs. a shop, but want to tackle it with someone who has done it before.

Thanks in advance!
Ethan

No problem - I do them all the time

But your in Knoxville and I'm in Mt. Juliet, What do you suggest on how to meet or do you just need info by email etc?
Your engine should be cold and you will need some tools especially a short 8mm for the water pump bolts .
