94 940T won't idle.

It runs fine off of idle, but when you throttle down, it dies. I'm lost.
I had a check engine light and it wouldn't run. I replaced the mass air sensor. Light is out, won't idle.

I have a similiar problem with my 89 740gle, 16v. Runs well on road but when I stop it idles a little irratically and often dies. I have replaced plugs, wires cap and rotor. Problem still exist. I am going to try to locate problem. If I have any success I'll let you know.

I checked vacumn lines and all looked well until I noticed a split in the hose at the connector on the charcoal emissions canister. It was the line that goes to the fuel tank. I replaced the hose and the problem has been nonexistent since. Maybe I corrected the problem checking connections or something. But I don't think so. Is this possible or coincidence.
