I love those things!

That's on my list for Christmas...good tools. I'm sick and tired of never having the freaking socket I need without searching all over creation for it.

I have that set and love it! I added a few larger of the wrenches to the box to complete most of it. Now I need the crankshaft bolt (nut?) size. I have read both 32mm and 34mm.

Anyone help on this?? By the way, I also got a combination 24mm wrench from Sears to fit the trans drain plug and then returned it.

Turns out on the same day I got a Harbor Freight 24mm 1/2" drive deep socket for 99 cents! He said if it broke bring it back and he'd replace it. Good enough for me. I'll probably use it 2-3 times in my life, or the car's life.

Just emailed my wife with the link. Apparently I asked for too many expensive tools. This one would be nice!

Put these at the top of the list! I got some Husky ratcheting metric wrenches last year and they have got to be one of the single best things I've got. Perfect for those really tight, awkward places where you'd normally spend forever getting a wrench to turn.

Just an FYI, those are made by Danaher who also make the Gearwrench brand ratcheting wrench. In fact those are merely rebrands. I bought the 6 pc Gearwrench set from Ace for $10, it is 8, 10, 12-15. Basically that set above except no 17 or 18. Also they are made in China or Taiwan, can't remember which. Just an FYI. I wouldn't jump on that set for that price IMO.

Gearwrenches are excellent wrenches and awesome utility, I do recommend at least a smaller set, just not the above. YMMV.

Let me introduce you to the Craftsman 299 pc socket set :D

With the Visa click thru coupon available on the web (search Visa 50 sears) gets it down to around $300. Almost too many sockets to be honest. I'm probably going to part some of mine out on ebay.
