'91 940t fault codes

My 940 turbo trip'd the check engine light as it began stumbling and running rough. We managed to limp home and the next morning it seems to run fine. The fault code of 1 2 1 indicates MAF issues. The MAF looks fine and the air filter is clean. There was a second code of 1 2 3 (c temp)

My question is, are the fault codes pretty reliable? I reset memory and have driven for a couple hours with no issues. The other thing I will add is this happened during a rather horrific storm with massive rainfall and wacky barometric changes. Could some of these components be sensitive to this?
