New to the forum

Like to start off by saying that this site rocks! Thank you Mathew and all the others that bring this forum the information it has stored! Great Job!

I started searching for a "new"/"different" vehicle in Wisconsin for the long commute to work (150 miles round trip) i was determined to find a Volvo, and NO I had never even sat in one before. One day about two weeks ago I was on Craigslist and found a 1995 850 GLT non-turbo. The guy wanted 1500, their was no rust or dents, the odometer stopped working at 170,00 there was a rebuild engine that was installed and ran great, I chewed him down to 1,100 and drove it home.. Wonderful Car!

I am a mechanic by trade so the things I have done in the last week.

odometer fix
rear rotors calipers and brakes
a GOOD detailing
oil change
plugs and wires

I love my Volvo and am getting an average 28.6 mpg. Pictures to come at a later time, again Thank You!

Welcome to MVS. How long ago was the engine rebuilt? Either way, it must run like new.
