Hey guys new here. I have a weird one for you. I have a 1987 240 wagon. It just died about a week ago. I have replaced the following: both fuel pumps, fuel filter ( is there only one?), Mass Air flow sensor, fuel regulator, TPS. I also checked the timing belt and dropped the exhaust at the manifold ( check for a clogged cat). The car will not rev up. I am at a complete loss of where to go to next. I cleaned out the throttle body, replaced flame trap. I also got a ecu from the junk yard ( what are the odds of two bad ones?). I can hear the injectors when I put a screwdriver on them. Any thoughts? I checked the grounds on top of the fuel rail, the one by the battery, and the strap to the valve cover. Any thoughts? Has anyone had a similar issue?

Further updates and or questions. I did a vacuum test and I am reading 5 inches, an my gauge reads possible causes are leak at manifold, late timing. Since I checked the belt what on earth could cause late timing unless the dizzy is bad? On another note has anyone had an intake manifold plugged up so bad the car will not run? I pulled the plugs and it seems to be running rich ( plugs are dark and smell of fuel). I am fairly mechanical but this is driving me crazy. I just may stick with my 69 Land Rover.
