Need help to identify this 1/2 moon piece

2000 S70, non turbo 5 valve
Wrapping up an engine swap on this car and had this bracket laying next to the starter. Went to mount the starter and I can't figure or remember what this piece is for. It's possible it doesn't have anything to do with the starter and I set it down next to the starter by mistake. Can anyone tell me what this goes to ?
