Best place to buy a new ECM?

Post by funkybeats »

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has purchased a new ECM. I have a 2004 Volvo S60 that appears to need one and I was wondering where the chepeast OEM replacement (Bosch) could be found.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Get one at your local junkyard make sure its from the same make/model/year/trim.
I get mine for $20 about 30 minutes away and pulling your own ECM doesnt even take any tools.
Dont believe the hype about the ECM needing to be "programmed to your car"
NOT TRUE. Just dont put a turbo ECM in an NA or vice-versa.
