How often and How do you change the fluid on a 2007 S80 V8???

According to the Owners Manual from Volvo - you don't.
But unfortunately, that has proved to be an Expensive Big Bad Joke...

In reality, the first tranny oil change should be done at 30k and subsequent partial drain-and-fills at every other engine oil change or so, to be on the safe side

What type is your tranny? (If it is a 5 speed Aisin, there are some awesome write-ups, just search the Repair Database.)

I've put in two procedures from VADIS, one for the 5-speed (no filter), and one for the 6-speed (this one has a filter to replace, too).

Personally, I prefer the write-ups that were put together by people who did the job. Easy to follow, lots of pictures and priceless advice and comments.
