Moon Roof opened by itself & can't close it.

I am looking for some assistance on an odd occurence that happened last night. After returning home & putting our 2007 S60R in the garage, all was normal. This morning my wife was leaving for work & realized the moon roof was wide open eventho it was closed last night. She tried to close it with no luck. Since it has been raining for the last few days, she took a different car. I checked fuse #7, it is fine. Tried multiple times to close to no avail.

I have owned 7 Volvos and currently have 3. A 1998 S70T5 with 377K, a 2003 S60 with 143K & the 2007 S60R with 135K. I have always done my own maintenance so I'm not shy when it comes to diving into problems. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting the UEM, which controls the sunroof.

With the key at driver' s door, lock/unlock the car 3x in a row.

Is that using the key in the lock or using the remote lock/unlock?

Reset by using the remote key fob.

No, use the Key in the lock
It may or may not work on an 05, the electrical system is completely different vs 01-04s.
