control arm bushings on '97 960 wagon

I began the process of replacing the rear bushings on my 97 960 wagon. I removed the control arms from both sides. The driver's side busing was fairly intact, the passanger side bushing was nearly destroyed. I pressed out the drivers side first, then pressed in the new bushing. There was a triangle mark on the bushing and on the arm, and I lined those up as I put in the new bushing. I didn't take a photo of how the old one was. The right bushing was so destroyed I pushed it out with my fingers, and again, I didnt get a referrence of how the bushing was fit in the arm, so I again lined up the mark on the bushing with the mark on the arm.

Now as I go to replace the arms they don't seem to line up and go back on the frame as they should. I am wondering if I did not position the bushings correctly in the arms? Does anyone have any guidance on this.

Also, I think the car had driven over something on the right side because the place on the front frame where the forward part of the control arm mounts was bent out of shape. I used a hammer to open the place back up, but now I am wondering if because of the damage the mounting holes for the bolt are out of alignment.

My 16 year old son drives the car, and contrary to what he says, I think he has been four wheeling or something.

Well, the bushings were installed correctly, it turned out to be the front mounting point for the passenger side control arm. It was bent out of true, so a few love taps and a lot of wrangling got it back in.
