Installing ecode headlights.

Good afternoon.

I purchased a set of ecode headlights assemblies for my 90 245.

The kit included left and right headlight assemblies, turn signals, connectors and bulbs. The headlight have the chrome trim on them but the turnsignal do not so i will have to remove the trim from the old turn signla and install them on the new ones.

I was able to get the old head lights lens and relfectors out.


1. Do i need to remove the old mounting brackets from the vehicle? These are the black trim pieces behind the old headlight lens and reflector. I think there are three bolts on the passenger side and four bolts on the driver side. These bolts are severly rusted and i may need to cut/dremel the out. I just want to be sure that have to be removed before installing the new headlights.

2.will i have any issues removing the trim from the turnsignal assemblies?
