Anything that can go wrong will go wrong this week, apparently.
I just replaced my spark plugs earlier this week to fix one issue, and now it appears I have another. The car won't start up. Lights will come on, as will radio/GPS plugged into cigarette outlet, etc. so unlikely a battery issue. Tried shifting into different gears (including neutral) to see if it'd help, but no cigar. We can definitely hear a click when we attempt to start the engine.
Anyone have any potential ideas as to what is wrong? One of my co-workers suspects the Neutral Safety Switch -- is he on the money, or way off base?

There are two different vehicles in the 2004 model year. Technically one is a 2004.5. The metal ignition key goes into steering column with 4 cylinder engine is one and the plastic key goes into dash with 5 cylinder engine is the 2004.5.
Which one is yours?

No warning lamp comes on when you go to the start position?
Another thing to try would be to jump it. The things you mention might work when the battery only is able to click the starter solenoid. When the temps go near or above 100 (I don't know where you are) batteries that worked fine this morning will not start the car this afternoon.

We think that the issue might be related to the ECM, which seems absolutely ridiculous given that the car is only eight years old. Does anyone know where a secondary ECM fuse might be located outside of the console place next to the steering wheel? Is there another one that may have gone out?
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

On second thought, it looks as though the fuel pump and the engine sensors are not getting power. Anyone have any clue? Maybe a bad relay?

Fuses for fuel system are in the box on LH (as viewed from driver seat) side under the hood. There is a legend on the box lid and I think fuses are detailed in the owner's guide.
Relays for fuel system are in that box too but will only be detailed on box lid.
