I may well be no real loss, but I'll wager that others are put off as there is little advice offered. And I bet those others have the insight to help us.

consider that the forum you are posting in may not get nearly the traffic that a the others do simply because the S40 is new, and hasn't had the time to develop the problems and consequent fixes that the other models do.

also consider that not everyone reads the forums every day, and some may not read forums that do not pertain to their particular model. i personally know little about the S40 other than how the '04 model handles.

actually, there's something to be said for a relatively quiet forum such as this one- there's little wrong with our cars!! (oh, and it's a nice change from the banter over on volvospeed's forums- which, if you haven't been there, may have a few more users who could answer your question. www.volvospeed.com
