Hi guys,
I'm new to Volvo's and new to this forum!
Im in Sydney, Australia and a couple of weeks ago I purchased a beautiful 1998 V40 2.0T which has been really well looked after and done 90000kms. Im really enjoying it and getting to know it.
I've done a few searches for parts and am a bit confused. Im finding that pre 2000 parts are rarely listed for it (ie when selecting make/model on the internet) quite often there isnt even an option to select a 1998 V40. I read somewhere that these cars werent available in the US until 2000, so Im guessing that has a lot to do with it? But i still cant find many listings anywhere else in the world.
For eg, I was looking for new rear suspension bushes for the rear control arms and cant find anywhere that lists these for a 1998 V40.
So, basically I just wanted to introduce myself, and find out if anyone else knows a good place to get parts for this car and if I'm able to purchase the later year parts for this car?
