Spiark Plugs

I am looking for recommendations for spark plugs for my 2001 s80 2.9. I pulled out of a set of Volvo oem plugs that showed lots of wear and replaced them with Autolite single electrode plugs as that was all that was in stock at the local store. Are single electrode/conventional platinum tip plugs ok or do I need a different style of plug. Again, not impressed with performance or longevity of the oem plugs. Engine has close to 180,000 miles and seems to run well. Thanks!

Run OE or Copper if you can find an equivalent. The main difference is in the hardness of the tips so the frequency of replacement. I rather have fresh plugs than one set baking for a long period of time. Replace Platinum Spark Plugs in 2 friend's Honda Odyssey several months ago with OE plugs from Amazon at $10 each and there was a considerable difference in performance and mileage even though the cars were running smooth.

EDIT: BE SURE to SKIM some Silver (very messy) Type anti-seize on the Plug threads. DO NOT get it on the Tips or Electrodes!
