Hello,
I'm wondering what I would need to get a set of stock fog lights running on my 850. I have a 94 non turbo with an R bumper, I'm looking for a set of stock style fog lights to mount to my Volvo. I found a few sets on ebay that include the relays and switch but no wiring. Is my Volvo already pre-wired for fog lights or would I need to get a harness and all the other wiring too?
There doesn't seem to be much info online that I can find out about mounting a pair of these.
For reference this is a set I saw on ebay.

I also just bought a set on ebay, but they didn't include trim rings. $40. shipped and functioning. My car had the '93 Alter I foglights installed so everything is already wired from the original ones. In fact since I don't have any hooked up at the moment, the bulb fault alert light comes on when my lights are on. So my car seems to want its foglights back.
I will have to cut out the hole templates that are visible on the backside of the '96 bumper cover/spoiler that I installed.
All I need are the black trim rings for the cutouts, but I understand they are less than $10. OEM. What a rare opportunity to buy something from a dealership, and feel like I wasn't ripped off. Ha.
For the OP, you must have the later '94 with Alter II front end if you are looking at the ones from that ebay link. But everything should be pre wired, and ready for the relays, switch and lights.
Good Luck.

- I like this look without the foglights, but it wants them.
