Bought (another) new car today!

Post by jblackburn »

Not mine, but my girlfriends.

She replaced her 2002 Camry LE V6, which will be passed down to her younger brother who just totaled his Accord, with a 2012 Camry SE 4-cylinder.

The 2012 is a fantastic car, and the best mid-size sedan on the market at the moment (to us). She was curious about the 2013 Fusion and 2013 Accord (since both look to be worlds above the current generation models), but neither comes out until next month, and she's got a $1000 college discount for Toyota that expires soon.

The 2002 Camry has been an AMAZING car - in 10 years/106,000 miles in her family, it's needed nothing but a timing belt and valve gasket cover. Aside from regular maintenance like brakes and oil changes, that's IT.

More pictures coming soon!

And here's the two together. Not a bad-looking pair if you ask me ;)
