1998 Volvo V70XC AWD, burgundy/red color. Black leather interior that is in very good shape. Located in Hemet, CA on the other side of the mountain from Palm Springs. Extremely well maintained, never abused over our years of ownership. 199,860 highway mostly and around town miles. Lots of new parts such as fog lights (both), headlights, 25% tinted windows, almost new Bridgestone Potenza tires, accelerator cable, thicker style oil cap gasket, top engine mount including the blue IPD mount, new points, plugs, distributor cap, steering rack, trunk lid shocks, power window (driver's side) control unit, front axles and boots, front shocks, vacuum hose connectors, front air dam, brakes were replaced awhile ago and still have life remaining, etc. Has always been maintained by a local (Hemet, CA) European car shop (Autohaus Bavaria) with regular synthetic oil changes. No rust, body in very good condition considering how many trips to the grocery store it has made! Everything works and, considering how much I've done to it, I hate to see it go.... However, my wife wanted to update our Volvo inventory (we also have a 1997 850 GLT for sale!!) so we just purchased an almost new (12,400miles) 2011 XC70 so that our trips from Hemet to the San Francisco area to visit our working kids happens without any problems (we can always hope!!). My wife and I would like to get close to what Kelley Blue book says: $4200. We feel this is a fair price for a really nice car that someone could trick out with racing/high performance stuff.
