My V40 TD 1999 has now done 514,000 kms and I'm assured by the previous owner (since new) that the clutch has never been changed ! I have suddenly got severe juddering whilst pulling off although it is fine when running.
It would seem fairly clear that the clutch needs replacing ! Haynes do a workshop manual for the S40/V40 car but not the turbo diesel version, which means that I don't have the technical guide for performing the clutch change i.e engine/gearbox removal etc.
It's the D4192T engine with the JC5 gearbox. I've looked through the forum and found one reference for engine removal - S40 with a Vadis sheet VCC-090733 EN 2011-06-24.
Is there something like this for my model which would include removal then clutch replacement ?
Help would be much appreciated as i don't want to spend a fortune on garage repairs and, despite its high mileage, the vehicle is running really well and I want to keep it going to the million kms mark !!! (cough!)

VADIS shows the '99 V40 TD as having the M5 gearbox.
