Name: Patrick, best reached by PM
Car: 1999 Volvo V70 XC AWD
Mileage: ~180k
Color: Silver/Charcoal
Transmission: Automatic
VIN: YV1LZ56D1X2626885

I bought this car in May with the intention of fixing it up and keeping it as a daily driver. When I got it, I fixed a few items and drove it as a daily for about a month while my R was being fixed. I would love to finish it off and keep it, but I really don't have the time to work on it anymore.

Let's start with The Good

The following work was done in the last few months:
-Replaced CVVT solenoid
-Replaced upper engine mount with poly bushing
-Replaced firewall mount with OEM type
-Replaced cabin filter
-Replaced heater core
-Replaced ABS module
-Replaced Front O2 sensor
-Replaced Air Filter
-Replaced Spark Plugs
-Car seized a caliper the other week and will come with new front driver's side caliper and fresh brake fluid flush
-Transmission flush performed with Mobil 3309 Synthetic

The following was performed by the previous owner within the last few years/30k miles:
-Timing Belt
-Radiator
-Coolant tank
-Xemodex ETM

And here are some general items:
-Pads have plenty of life on them (well over half)
-Rotors appear to have life on them (just the slightest lip can be felt)
-Tires are newer and all match
-Previous owner was friends with owner of a Volvo dealership and had oil changes done every 3k miles :)
-According to previous owner, his uncle owned the car before him for many years
-Moonroof works well and does not leak
-Leather is in good shape, minimal cracking and still reasonably soft
-Car has Alpine CDE-W235BT Double Din receiver installed, with Bluetooth. Unless this is negotiated into the price, car will come with stock SC-816 unit in working condition with radio code.
-Car comes with working driveshaft/VC, albeit disconnected. Previous owner had VC repaired and never installed these items back. I have been driving with them disconnected for the time being.
-Transmission flush performed by previous owner at 150k
-Car shifts well, never bangs into gear

And now, The Bad

-Rear left quarter panel has small crease above wheel well
-Rear right quarter panel has what appears to be botched body work and is hazy/scratched
-Driver's seat forward/backwards switch is broken, motor works just fine
-Front driver's side door panel is loose and falling off a bit
-One of the fog lights doesn't work
-A/C does not work (tried recharge, stayed cold for a day, obvious leak somewhere...)
-Needs PCV system (have the parts, can negotiate into price)
-Slight ticking at idle, worse on hot days. Suspected sump rings, will throw in ring kit and Volvo gasket sealant
-Front struts are original, front passenger side strut mount needs replacement at a minimum
-Rear shocks seem to be in better shape than fronts, but could probably use a change
-Vibration upon acceleration, thinking axles need changing, although no clicking can be heard while turning. This could also be due to:
-Lower engine mount in need of replacement
-Car has intermittent starting problem. It happened when I first got the car and then just last week happened again. I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot, thinking it could be as simple as the antenna ring, but that's for the new owner to have fun with

Asking $1950 OBO without parts for PCV and Alpine head unit. $2300 with these parts ($550 value!)

Ill have more pictures up tonight.
