2002 C70 HT coupe

I have a line on a '02 C70 HT coupe with 41K original miles...way over priced and beautiful! Anyway I have been looking up the TSB reports on it and they mention an ETM. I thought this went away in '02...Anybody know if it has one....any experience with this year make and model?

RIP 2000 XC70 SE....

From what I can tell, that car has an ETM. I think the 02 C70 was the last car to use it. I think 02' is the last year before the new C70 was released. Personally i don't think you should walk away based on the ETM alone.

Believe it or not '04 was the last year with the old body. These are my favourite Volvo. I was offered a '98 coupe that needed transmission for $3,200 and now I'm kicking myself for not commiting.

The coupes were the last to use the ETM as they were a year behind with production changes for that model. Keep it garaged and keep it a weekend car and you'll see the car holds its price well, just don't overspend to purchase.

Hmm, I thought the coupe went to 02' and the convertible went until 04'. Anyway.

Your own words. I didn't say in my post that the coupe went to '04. Have a good read. They're still my favourite regardless of which year they ended.
