Display fault light
Display fault light
I have a 1999 V40 2.0L which after 10 – 12 minutes of starting the engine a display warning apears, it looks like a three pronged lighting strike, the owners manual states it is an Engine Electronics Fault and it is located at the bottom right corner of the display, it does not go out until the engine is turned off. Other than a little hesitattion of the throttle when cold nothing seems wrong, I do not know what this is, does anyone know what could be causing this? If I buy a code reader what is the right type? Your help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I found the 16 pin diagnostics connection on the drivers side under the centre dash Ok
