08 XC70- Intermitten Remote and Manual Key Issues

I am having problems with my car if I lock it and leave it for say an hour or more it will not unlock. The manual key will not work nor will the remote. If you lock and unlock within 25-30 minutes there's no problem. We are moving this weekend and the last thing I have time to do is take the car to the shop. Does anyone know of anything, other than remembering to leave the car unlocked that might solve this issue if only temporary?

i just had this happen on a CPO 2008 XC70 ...needed new battery for car (not remote).
