Fifth cylinder won't fire
The fifth cylindar of 1994 volvo 960 will not fire. Checked spark plug and ignition coil. No spark whatsoever is reaching plug. Comments???

They have a coil on plug ignition system. if they're original to the car then voltage could be leaking out through small cracks in the plastic part going down into the cylinder-you may try wrapping it in electrical tape for a temporary fix/confirmation. You can replace that one or all of them.

Also, swap the coil to another cylinder and see if the problem follows.
