On 11/15/01 "Rod" posted a repair suggestion of using Bosch #15717 as a generic replacement. It is supposed to be for a 96 or 97 Ford Explorer. I would like to find out if he used this for the before cat or after cat O2 sensor replacement. I need to replace both and would like to know how he decided on #15717 and if this # is good for both. I would also like to hear from anyone with ANY inexpensive O2 sensor replacement advice. Thank you.
