Help, Advice and DIY Tutorials on Volvo's P80 platform cars -- Volvo's 1990s "bread and butter" cars -- powered by the ubiquitous and durable Volvo inline 5-cylinder engine.
i have a Volvo V70 2.4, it has only done 14000 miles. ever since i got i punchture it has developed a annoying viration between 60-70 mph. i have had the wheels rebalanced and it has been to a Volvo main dealer several times and still remains to have this problem.
Do any of you guys know what the problem could be?
Any Suggestions please!!
What does rebalancing of the wheels consist of? A problem could be that you have mildly flat spotted your tires, which, as funkski suggested, could be fixed with new tires. Another could be simply that if you have an amount of toe the mechanic who torqued down your wheels might not have done so in a diagonal pattern and the wheels could be loose. If the latter this happend with our racecar and sheared off the studs sending the car with only 3 wheels off the track. There are many possibilities, these are just a couple.
