MVS users bought ten Autel ODBII scanners last month

Post by matthew1 »

How do I know? They used the Amazon link, which gives a small percent to MVS, and they didn't pay a penny more. MVS is an Amazon Affiliate, so when you use that link to buy at Amazon, your purchase total gets counted toward my Affiliate account, and a month later Amazon deposits the money into my bank account.

It's more than a win-win, it's a win-win-win. Whoa.

You win: you can help keep MVS on the Web by merely buying what you were going to get anyway.
Amazon wins: they get their products advertised by me and other Affiliates.
MVS wins: hosting costs are about $300 a month, so obviously anything I can throw against this cost I do. Donations and that Amazon link cover up to all of it, on very good months. Usually it's around half that amount. More ways to help MVS.

If you make a big purchase like a big TV or computer or something, let me know and I'll make your account an MVS Contributor.

Anyway, last month some of you bought ten Autel MaxiScan MS300 CAN Diagnostic Scan Tools! Ten! It's not a windfall -- the ten netted me around $14 altogether -- but it's good to see a good product at a good price getting into MVS users' hands. Thanks if you're one of the ten buyers.

I've had a MS300 for three years, and I love it. They're cheap ($19.99), durable, lightweight, small, and pretty much idiot-proof. Uses no batteries, display lights up for night use, it has only two buttons, and works in 0° F temperatures. It's the epitome of dedicated devices. It reads and clears codes. Not SRS or Service reminder. It's a great second code reader if you have a nice reader already. I put mine in the front passenger seat pocket. Just tonight I reset a P0422 with it.
