The radiator in my car has a small crack just below the upper radiator hose. From my research it seems like this is a common failure. I just found this out this morning and need to have it fixed by tuesday. My local junk yard has two '99 v70's turbos, one 2000XC, and one 99non turbo. Does the radiator have to be out of a turbo?
After looking on FCP it looks like only '99 and 2000 will fit my car, is this correct?
Last question, is there any way to check mileage without having the key? I would like to see how many miles are on the cars before I get a used one.
I would like to get a brand new radiator but I need this fixed today or tomorrow. Spending $50 instead of at least $210 and having to wait for it to be shipped seems like a better option. I just need it to last three weeks until I have time and money to buy a new radiator.

getting a used one you maybe asking for more problems then you would like. you can drain the fluid down past the crack and use JB weld to Temp fix it, but I would order a new one from FCP as they come with new O rings for the oil cooler lines and trans lines which is a BIG recommendation to change. if your car is turbo I do not think you can use a non turbo radiator as there are no oil cooler line hook ups..I may be wrong though
