Good Mechanic in the FDL, Oshkosh and Appleton, WI area.
I have recently used Delfosse Tech on Jackson in Oshkosh and found him knowledgeable and if not totally familiar with your particular car will actually LOOK UP the EXACT repair procedure (x torques on the axle nut + 60 degrees more on a degree wrench) And doesn't keep the labor clock running while he looks it up. $74.99 an hour or $49.99 an hour if you allow him to put a sticker (it's kinda cool with a smiley face with sunglasses) on the back to help him advertise his re-opening) keep the sticker on it and the $49.99 is for as long as you own the car (the original car please, don't be an ass). He will be doing my water pump this coming week (timing belt and the idler, tensioner etc since the labor to get the timing belt done is only 0.45-1hr more labor). These are things I could and have done but with a full time job and it being the middle of a long cold Wisconsin winter. 50 bucks an hour sounds good to me.
Don't just look at it, drive it.
