XC90 both front rotors have deep grooves - thoughts needed

Backstory: I recently purchased my XC90 (2008 3.2) and at the time of purchase they had just done new pads all around and front rotors. That was 11.5k miles ago. It is a CPO and I just want to know what to expect when I bring it in. In the pic, you can see two DEEP groves cut into the rotor on the outer edge. Both front rotors are the same. The rears look normal. Please let me know your thoughts.
