2.4liter engine swap

hello,a few months ago i had a timing belt failure on my v70xc, i replaced the engine with another 2.4l out of an s60, i am currently gathering parts to rebuild my old engine, but my real question is, what cars will my engine fit it? i was looking for maybe an 850? it might bolt up but what about wiring? my other thougts were an s40, or possibly a c30? im not just going to do a straight up stock rebuild, my hope is to make quite a monster of of this engine, ive found most of the parts to do this but, i need a rolling chasis yet, i like the style of the newer volvos but is it even a possibility to swap my engine into anything other than another v70,s60/80 style of car? much thanks for any feed back
