Engine light flashes

Engine light flashes

Hi, i have this problem in my 2004 xc90...

When key is in position II, after 5 seconds the engine light flashes 7 or 8 times. This is only when the engine is not yet started. If i start the car without waiting the flashing, there is no lights or messages in the cluster and the car drives well.

Any ideas? Thanks!
